PRESIDENT: Don Bourque, Fire Control Technician, Missiles 2nd Class; 1980 - 1983
Served aboard the USS Arthur W. Radford from 1980 to 1983 as a Fire Control Technician specializing in the Sea Sparrow and Harpoon missile systems. He also served on the ship’s security force and as a helmsman during special evolutions, with the UNITAS cruise being a highlight of his tour. After leaving the Navy following the ship’s first Beirut deployment, Don built a 35-year career in electronics and IT before retiring to The Villages, Florida. An experienced community leader and event organizer, he has held roles including president of a soccer organization, HOA president, class reunion chairman, and board member of a local TV station. With a lifelong commitment to service, Don now brings his leadership and organizational skills to his role as President of the USS Arthur W. Radford Association.

VICE PRESIDENT: Scott Horne, Information Systems Technician 1st Class; 2000 - 2003
Served aboard the USS Arthur W. Radford from 2000 until its decommissioning, transitioning from Data Processing Technician to Information Systems Technician after the 2001 rate merger. He was the Leading Petty Officer for OC and OZ divisions and the Head System Administrator for both NIPRNET and SIPRNET, also serving in key damage control and fire party roles. Retiring from the Navy in 2011 after 21 years, he went on to serve in network security roles at Marine Forces Command and later at Fort Riley, Kansas. A Life Member of the VFW and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA), he actively supports veteran causes, organizing rides and fundraisers, including a 2017 cross-country ride for veteran suicide awareness. He continues to give back through community service as a volunteer firefighter and CVMA Chapter XO, and is passionate about motorcycles and restoring antique tractors with his father.

TREASURER: Andrew Moore, Sonar Technician, Surface (SW) 2nd Class; 1984 - 1988
Enlisted in the Navy in 1983, serving aboard the USS Arthur W. Radford (AWR) as a Sonar Technician during key operations including the Tanker War and UNITAS cruise, before leaving active duty in 1988. He continued his service in the Navy Reserve, transitioning to Intelligence Specialist and earning a commission as an Intelligence Officer after completing a degree from the University of Mississippi. Recalled to active duty in 1999, he held various intelligence leadership roles, including assignments aboard USS Enterprise during 9/11, at the Navy Reserve Intelligence Command, Naval Construction Forces Command, Amphibious Squadron Eight, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Parallel to his military service, he served as a police officer and investigator in Mississippi. He retired as a Navy Commander in 2015, having served over three decades.

SECRETARY: Shane Graham, Operations Specialist 2nd Class; 1997 - 2001
Reported aboard the USS Arthur W. Radford in March 1997 during its AEMSS retrofit and transition to a mixed-gender crew, serving in CIC as an Operations Specialist and in the ADP shop as one of only 26 Atlantic Fleet sailors working out-of-rate in IT. This experience launched his 20+ year civilian career in information technology. He has remained an active part of the Radford community, serving as the lead admin for the ship’s main Facebook pages and supporting reunion efforts with cybersecurity oversight. Drawing on his CIC background, he brings a strong focus on efficient information management and technological solutions to his current role as secretary of the Arthur W. Radford Foundation.
