A Word from the Bridge

Welcome shipmates to your new Arthur W. Radford Association.

I would like to first and foremost thank Budd Webster for his vision and willingness to start this new adventure. I am honored to serve and lead the inaugural board alongside an outstanding team where each member brings a wealth of experience.  

 

The board is currently working hard to set up an infrastructure that will ensure a solid foundation from which to grow.  Once it is operational and fully setup, we will be looking for shipmates to join our association as active members.  

 

We currently envision many opportunities for you to get involved along the way.  As mentioned in the inaugural newsletter, we will celebrate the golden anniversary of DD 968’s commissioning in April 2027.  We plan on making our 50th anniversary reunion a very special one, so be sure to save the date.  

 

Our team looks forward to reconnecting with former shipmates and meeting all of you who served aboard the mighty Arthur W. Radford.
